Burmese Jade Pendant - Archaic Dragon
A sinuous archaic dragon with bifurcated tail crouching on an oval jadeite plaque; the dragon amidst liingzhi, was well carved raised on ground supported by its strong arms and legs leaving hollowed space in between; at back is a central aperture surrounded by incised cuves.

Old Nephrite Jade Pendant - Monk Jiong
A fine white nephrite carved and cut to Monk Jiong ; Jiong (1130 -1209), a household name in China, was born in Yongning Village Tiantai County Zhejiang Province in the Southern Song Dynasty. Despite the highly disciplined life expected to a monk, he lived an unconventional and uninhibited life without fixed residence or regular meals. As such, he was known as the 'Insane Jiong' at that time. But he was arrogant and estranged, upright and honest. He was said to have magic power to cure illness and deliver wealth to the poor. Burmese Jade Pendant - Goat & Pears
Two sides carving of a top grade tri-color
jadeite pendant. The features include a peaceful goat holding a sprig of
pears at its mouth at front while at back, depicting three ancient coins
with bats flanking the sides, in great detail and plenty of depth in
carving. Tri-Color, better known as 'Fu Luk Shou', in Chinese culture, represent 3 virtues, which
are healthy, wealthy and longevity respectively. The pendant carries all these 3
blessings.

Burmese Jade Pendant - Qilun
A very fine rectangular jadeite plaque of icy category well
carved, dug and pierced as a 'Qilun' within a flat upturn border; the reverse,
carved and pierced with taoist symbols. 'Qilun' is an creature with the
head of a dragon, body of a deer, tail of an ox and hoof of a horse and is
immortal. Legend says mother of Confusious once came across a ''Qilun'.
Later she got pregnant and had Confucious who became a great master

Burmese Black Jade Pendant - Cicada
A very unique charcoal black jadeite pendant carved as a cicada
crouching on a leafy bamboo bough . The cicada is very well carved with fine details in
folded wings with incised body lines. The reverse is incised with vein
of the leaf. Ancient Chinese regarded cicada as the symbol of
immortality. The cicada is vividly carved in details with folded wings,
protrusive eyes and other body lines. Because of its life history,
cicada is regarded as a symbol of resurrection. The lava works its way
into the earth, and, after a long subterranean existence of many years,
emerges to the surface in the pupa stage from which the cicada is
transformed. The re-birth of the cicada also symbolizes the re-birth of
the mortals. It is said cicada brings longevity to its owner.
